On Monday you'll have a chance to answer that question…and then do something about it.
A new chance to be part of county government has come. Join leaders from across Washoe County as we voice the issues we care most about and help impact the county government’s plans for 2009 and beyond.
We're calling everyone in Washoe County who is passionate about our community’s future in areas such as public safety, transportation, environment, sustainable growth, human services, and water.
This Monday, September 15th, from 6pm-8pm in downtown Reno, Washoe County will be holding a Community Leaders Forum where you’ll have the chance to answer:
What do you want to see our County doing?
What should we focus more on?
What should we stop doing?
Participants will then let your government know what actions you want to see taken to address these issues. This isn’t a town hall meeting- this is you shaping your future.
This unique forum will be held at the Downtown Reno Ballroom at 50 Center Street, Reno, NV.
Persons with disabilities who wish to attend and require auxiliary aids or services should contact Julie Skow at 328-3605, at least seven days prior to the meeting.
Message me to RSVP or contact Julie Skow at 328-3605 or jskow@washoecounty.us.
It's sponsored by the Washoe County Board of County Commissioners. Didn't mean to sound PR-ish, but figured everyone on here would be interested.
